Shipping
All artwork is carefully packed when shipped. The artwork is secured to a piece of foamboard with removable tape, and then shrink-wrapped for protection. We then bubble-wrap the package and place it into a box and mark fragile on the box. Insurance is not necessary, however, it can be added if requested.
Loss of art in the mail - this is something that doesn't happen however, if it should we always keep a rough of the drawing and Ric will happily re-create the piece for you.
Commission Work
Commissions are done on a first come first serve basis! If you have any questions with regaurds to subject mater or pricing please feel free to email laura@ric-illustrations.com
Ric is always willing to adjust the piece as much as needed however, once it has been given final approval and work begins there can be no major adjustments. If you remember something minor we will happily add to it. Ric does not do portraits however, if you have a picture of a face you would like to see on a fantasy being he can get a good likeness. Other then the single character the commission pieces always have a background and are finished works of art. It is also our policy not to use any of the customer commission pieces on the website unless first cleared with the customer. Ric is willing to adult oriented drawings with taste. If you are not sure what that defines please email us with your request before you place your order. Some of the commissions are being offered as limited edition prints only because the client has given us permission to do so.
For roughs, Ric is always happy to get a drawing right for a customer. However, do to some abuse of his good nature there will be a charge for any roughs that need to be done over three times. It will be $10.00 per rough past the three that come with your commission. Please understand a rough means just that. It is not fully rendered. It is done to give you idea of what he has planned for the final. So please do not ask him to render the rough unless you are willing to pay for the rendering done twice.
Commission Return Policy
I am sorry there are no returns. Once the piece has been shipped out it becomes the property of the buyer however, will do everything in our power to make sure the piece is exactly what you want before it leaves.
