About the Artist
Ric-Quiroz is an artist that has worked in the animation industry for the last 17 years. He has the distinction of receiving two Emmy Award Certificates for his design work on Pinky and The Brain and Animaniacs. He has also worked on other shows such as Iron Man, Earthworm Jim, He-man, and the list goes on. Check out his resume!
Hi Guys,
As most of you know ... Ric and I are in the fight of our lives. He was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS) on Oct 8th of last year. Since then our lives have changed and our focus has been to find a way to fight back. I created an event in conjunction with MDA in honor of Ric. All monies donated to MDA will go for ALS research. The Walk a Thon happened on 8/9 and we raised $5,500.00 and we are looking to raise as much as possible by 9/8.
MDA has been a godsend: we have a case worker that I was able to call on a Sunday night at 10:30pm when I was going nuts because I couldn't get Rics meds and she answered her phone, we are seeing a team of four doctors for free at UCLA that is and ALS specific clinic because our HMO doesn't cover us to go there and the list go. Most importantly they have given us hope! This organization does what they say they do and more. All monies will go for research and to helping the families facing this terrible disease -- so if you can help us reach our goal that would be great. Commissioned pieces are not being offered at this time. Because of Ric's condition we want to make sure he can finnish the work he has before we continue with anymore. We offer commissioned art work drawings in 9" x 12" and 11" x 14" sizes, in a variety of mediums. Ric cleverly created this piece with the idea that the initials would be R.I.C. The original is beautifully done in ink. Ric has a great comic book style for this type of work - not to mention imagination. I wouldn't want to meet this one in a dark alley. Please be aware that, although R.I.C. has the same name as the artist, they look nothing alike.

Commissioned Art Work
The commission piece is done according to your request. You give us the elements you want to see in the drawing, then Ric draws a rough and we e-mail it to you for your approval. When it is approved, Ric finishes the drawing on a 9x12 or 11x14 piece of bristol board. You receive the drawing and the rough.
